These barrels are designed to be installed with only a few specialized tools; an action wrench, barrel vice, and headspace gauges. Simply torque your barrel to your action, and check your headspace with go and no/go gauge.

These are for only Defiance actions with the Remington style recessed bolt face. Lug lapping, face-truing, and various coating and plating processes will make dimensional changes that will affect headspace.

The thread pitch diameter is the nominal size for the action type, which is 1.022″. See the attached drawing.

Barrel contours must have a shank diameter of 1.200″ or 1.250″. These will be contoured and crowned to length.

Lead time is about 12 weeks for a Pre-Fit barrel.
