2004 Paralympics in Athens Silver Medal!

Austrailian shooter Ashley Adams just competed at the Paralympics Athens. In the 60 shot prone he used a 2000 Anchutz with a Lilja tight 16 twist barrel blank he purchased from us and installed himself Silver Medal 595/600 (100 100 100 98 100 97 ) * shot prone fom the ground — the missed shots were a 9.6, 9.8, 9.9, 9.9, 9.9 using Federal UM1B 1000 ammo. Ashley says: “Tthanks for making a fine barrel.” The event was held in Athens at the Olympic range where Matt Emmons shot for gold. The Paralympics was held from the 17th of Sept. to the 23rd of Sept. 2004. Says Ashley: “Even though I use a wheelchair, I shoot the event prone from the ground the same as the Open. At present I’m ranked 3rd in the Austrailia Open in 60-shot prone. Attached is a photo of 2 medals in the Olympic village. The other medal, bronze, is from air rifle.”
